Description

Better Baby Bums is proud to expand its line of alternative disposable diapers to include the newest Eco-Friendly and Eco Friendly Baby Diapers Canadababy-safe diaper, Earth's Best Tendercare. These diapers are one of the best alternatives on the market as it is one of the only disposables to be totally chlorine-free, made of wood pulp from renewable, sustainable forests, and its absorbent materials are totally natural. These natural diapers have a great fit due to their stretch waist and full stretch side panels (comparable to Pampers Cruisers) and are ULTRA absorbent. We are thrilled to have found a second diaper on the market with a bio-based absorbent (the other being Nature Babycare) rather than the chemical-based polymer gels found in conventional diapers. The non-woven inner and outer cover is made from plant-based materials.

Product Features

  • 100% chlorine free
  • wood pulp made from renewable, sustainable forests
  • super, non-toxic absorbency
  • natural, absorbent materials made from wheat and corn
  • non-woven inner and outer cover made of plant-based materials
  • latex free
  • dye free
  • perfume free
  • stretch waist
  • full stretch side panels
Better Bits on This Product
These diapers are a fantastic alternative to Nature Babycare, and you get more per pack! We feel confident using this corn-based product on our little ones and they perform extremely well. They keep my toddler comfortable, dry, and leak free all night. Hurray! Even the gel is plant-based! These diapers are stretchier than Nature Babycare and provide a more generous fit, which is great for babies who might have a few extra rolls. While the packaging is made from traditional plastic and isn't compostable like the Nature Babycare packaging, I just pop it in with any plastic shopping bags that I have accumulated and drop it off at my local grocery store to be recycled. Love them!

Best disposable around September 2, 2009
Reviewer: Stephanie from Langley, BC Canada
We swore with our second to go cloth and spent $$$s on them unfortunately after 11 months they seem to be a continual no go.  We decided to go eco-disposable for a while and avoided Seventh Generation this time (did not work at all for my first and they're not biodegradable as I've recently learned) so we went with NatureBabyCare and used them for my second and enjoyed them although not as stretchy and somewhat smaller fit than the popular brands BUT Earth's Best have been a dream come true as they fit fab on my daughter who is slender, holds a lot more liquid than  Pampers , we compost our wet EB diapers and don't suffer any leakage at nighttime like the brand names ones did for us when we found ourselves a little behind on ordering more from this site.

Love these June 23, 2009
Reviewer: Robbyn from Coquitlam, BC Canada
I had been using Nature Baby Care (which I too really like) but found they were not stretchy enough for my little one.  These offer great stretch and I have had no problems at all with leakage - even over night!  I highly recommend these.

hmmm June 10, 2009
Reviewer: Mom in Montreal from Montreal, QC Canada
We gave these a try; especially since they seemed comparable to Nature Baby Care (which we adore!!)
Granted there are more in a pack and slightly cheaper than NBC; however we found that we dealt with many a diaper mishap.
Its hard to describe; but these diapers (for us anyways) just didnt seem to hold or absorb what our son threw its way.
If I knew that he pooped; I would race to change the diaper as fast as I could or face having to completely change and possibly bathe him; due to him leaking/exploding/ seeping
